Peace, Love, Work

Just a quick update on the last few weeks....365 pics are coming, but probably not until Tues or Wed of this week!

I'm at the tail end of my all-over-the-place excursions, which has been exhausting and wonderful. I feel like I'm in a really good place right now on so many levels. The job has helped. Family has helped. Friends have been fundamental.

Speaking of the job, I L.O.V.E. it!!! 8 am last Monday I met the rest of the sales staff (5 men, none younger than 28, also my boss is male)...frankly, they are great. They genuinely seem to want to get to know, what to help me succeed & are happy that I'm there. I feel like in any job at any company in any position, you can be surrounded by the worst people and hate your job OR be surrounded by the best people and love your job. I belong to the latter category, and for that I am so thankful!! The rest of the office is really nice, too!!

I also, love my work space!! It's a cubicle, but it's big and cozy all at once. I have it decorated just so, which makes the rest of the sales staff laugh. There not used to a girl, let alone a girly girl.

I look forward to work everyday, & I honestly am excited for this three-day weekend to be over so that I can go back to my awesome job.

HOWEVER....

...after work everyday I am stinkin' exhausted. Monday, Tuesday AND Wednesday (after dinner with Kirsten) were spent working on a dam.n 2000 piece puzzle that I've had for 2 years and I'm trying to get rid of. Thursday was spent sleeping. I haven't gotten any cleaning done, any organizing done or any anything done. I've been waking up at 5:30, working from 8:00-5:00, running errands usually until about 7:00, then feeling exhausted until I finally decide to go to bed at 11:00. Hopefully, I will figure out a better schedule once my apartment isn't a total pit & then again once I'm not commuting 40 minutes to work in the morning (15-20 sounds so much better!!!).

I've been trying to relax during this 3-day holiday weekend, but it's not really happening...but I'm really looking forward to Tuesday!!!
