I love my dog.

I am so lucky to have my dog. Don't get me wrong, he can be a real pain in the ass. This potty training thing is out of control. He wreaks havoc on my apartment every time I leave. But really, he is a great great great dog!!

Tucker is 40 weeks old. According to onlineconversion.com

"The formula is: 10.5 dog years per human year for the first 2 years, then 4 dog years per human year for each year after."

So, he is 8.09 dog years old. Interesting.

Anyway, I thought I'd make a list of my 25 favorite things about my dog!

1. His name, Tucker. I thought long & hard about his name, but being able to call him Tucker the F***er is a great way to laugh when I am frustrated with him.

2. He lets me mess with him incessantly. He lets me pick at him & he always entertains my ridiculous photo ops!

3. His favorite activity is cuddling.

4. His favorite way to cuddle is with his chin draped over my arm/leg.

5. He is really good car companion!!

6. He is good on airplanes.

7. He has really bad separation anxiety. Though this can be a HUGE source of my frustration, it's really just a testament to how much he loves me.

8. He is really good at walks. He never chases birds or pulls me.

9. He follows me around everywhere I go.

10. He waits outside the shower for me.

11. He eats candy. Our favorite candy is both dum dums.

12. He lets Trynnity love him as much as she wants.

13. He gets really excited when someone comes to see him (me).

14. He always greets me at the door.

15. He like to chew concrete, which is just funny.

16. He has a "secret" hiding spot....under the cushion of one of my living chairs.

17. He loved me instantly!!!

18. He gives kisses when I tell him to.

19. He lets me dress him up, even though he is surely humiliated.

20. He has big ears. (I almost named him Bruce, like Bruce Wayne, because they look like Batman ears)

21. He lets me play with his hair.

Mohawk

Emo Hair...hahahahahahaha

22. He prefers beef flavor to chicken flavor, just like me!!!

23. He thinks he's a big dog. He loves to play with the big dogs & he thinks he has a very ferocious growl.

24. He always burps after he eats because he eats too fast!

25. He has the adorable head tilt down to a science!!!

Spring Break

I plan to update my Project 365 within the next couple of days, but this is about spring break.....which started about 5 minutes ago for me :o).

I woke up at 5:00 this morning b/c I couldn't sleep. After fighting it for 30 minutes, I decided to work on my online statistics class. Luckily, after 3.5 hours, I finished my assignments for this week!!! (I had an extra exam due this week :o/)

So, begins my spring break.

I'm not going to lie, I wanted to do something fun. Nothing really presented itself until about a week ago, but I decided to pass...not because of the money, but because of my motivation.

I have determined that this will be the most productive spring break ever.

Outside of possibly/probably going out on Friday &/or Saturday night, I plan to be sooooo productive & I can't wait!!!

I plan to write a 10-15 page research paper, subject Mass Communications Law: Fair Use and Copyright Law in Published Photography.

I plan to write at 5,000 words of another research paper, subject Business of Media: Work & Personal Life Balance for Working Mothers in Media Leadership.

I plan to do my taxes.

I plan to train my puppy (b/c he has puppy class graduation on the 25th!!).

I plan to redo my Business of Media midterm. Yes, the grades were THAT BAD.

I plan to get as far ahead in my statistics class as possible.

I plan to NEVER WORK ON THE WEBSITE I AM CREATING FOR MY ASSISTANTSHIP!!!

I plan to ride my bike.

I plan to go to Old O'Connell's for St. Patrick's Day....I've never been!!!

I plan to have fun if & when the opportunity presents itself.

I am so excited for spring break.

Places I want to go...

One of the biggest motivations in choosing my undergraduate degrees (International & Area Studies and French) was that I love to travel and see the world. Though life is full of contradictions (I love seeing the world...I hate being away from home for any extended period of time) & I am not exactly thrilled with what I got my degree in, I still want to experience as much of the world as I can in this short life.

I've started collecting photos of places that I want to see someday. Of course, the obvious locale are included. Niagara Falls. The Taj Mahal. The Great Wall of China. However, I want more to see the hidden treasures of this world. I want to see things that most people won't.

Sooooo, here's starting my list of places to see in the world!

Iguazu Falls
-between Parané, Brazil & Misiones, Argentina
As Elanor Roosevelt once said, "Poor Niagara."

Plitvice Lakes National Park
-Croatia
Croatia seems like one of the most beautiful 'scapes to visit. Aside from Plitvice Lakes, the rest of the country is equally as captivating.

Maldives
-Indian Ocean
Not your typical American view of South Asia. It reminds me of Leo's The Beach (minus the part where everyone's utopia is ruined by the craziness of the human mind)

Hotel Igloo Village Kakslauttanen
-Finland.
As much as I don't believe that incredible accommodations are essential for world travel, this place is a BIG exception. You can stay in a glass igloo in sub-zero temperatures and witness some of the most spectacular views of the Northern Lights! I want to go now!!

MORE TO COME!!!

Day 9: This is the best I could do this day. At least its not of the dog.

03/03/2010

Day 10: I spent most of the day up in Edmond. I had lunch, then went shopping with my friend Tasha! After I went to get my "hairs cut" with Andie!!

03/04/2010

Day 11: Cramming for my Business of Media midterm....allllllllll dayyyyyyyyy. BTW, Here's my desk in the grad student office in Gaylord!!

03/05/2010

#FAIL

I have really been dropping the ball on this Project 365 thing.

I HAVE been taking photos every day, It's just been kinda like "Oh, crap, I havn't taken any pictures yet.

02/25/2010

DAY 4 : These are the girls in my Business of Media class, Chelsea (on the left) & Alex. This class lasts from 6:00-10:00, so it's really nice having people that I get along with to numb the exhausting pain! This picture was taken at 10:00, so we look a little sleepy :o).

02/26/2010

DAY 5 : I made stuffed mushrooms for dinner! I could only eat 3 LOL. I went out this night, but I never took my camera out of my bag. Again, #FAIL.

02/27/2010

DAY 6 : I did NOT go out this Saturday night. I wanted too, but I couldn't find anything to do. I ended up watching The Beach and drinking some vino. Tucker kept me company all day!!

02/28/2010

DAY 7 : I spent all day Sunday studying. I know, way lame. But, I didn't get anything done this last week, so I knew I needed to play catch up during the weekend. Tucker studied, too. I really should not have two pictures of the dog in a row, and I'm pretty disappointed in myself haha. Regardless, this picture CRACKS ME UP!
